If you are buying an unopened sealed box, I don't see what the harm is. If you mean mean buying used accounts or individual items/gold for real life cash, then thats a bannable offense. So don't do it.

Uh, they've been out for quite a bit now. Price cuts have happened two or three times now.

So, you wanna know if there's a price cut for the game during holidays?

Anet sometimes has promotions, but not necessarily for the holidays. And they don't just lower prices because it's the holidays. If you wanna know about sales from stores then you're gonna have to check with the stores. Like I said, there have already been prices cuts. Not too much is gonna change unless you plan on waiting for like, 6 months - a year.

hey guys i got another question.Can i use the -image command to dl all updates after installing without putting my acces key and making an account?

And yes, you can do the -image command without having an account. You don't have to pay to download the game.

First thing that comes to me? Uh...well, since I'm pretty much focused on one char for the last month, do I wanna do some HM missions and get that title done, get the last couple of % for my Legendary Cartographer or try some vanquishing, I guess. Don't really do much more than that anymore.

coz its nearly feb.I dint mean that question i mean what is the first thing on the screen when u click the icon i.e start up screen like in normal games it starts with the companys name etc.

hey i got two more questions:
1)If i install nighfall and do the -image command will it dl updates of prophecies also?(coz im goin to get it later to start with it first.)

2)When i input the acces key of nighfall:CE( i wont play it) then later when i add prophecies will i b able to start with prophecies and create my char there then later go to nightfall?or is it better to do vice versa?

As far as I know when you do the -image command you get the full program update, all chapters. However you need to add an access key to enter each chapter of the game, so if you only have Nightfall access key then you cant get into Factions or Prophicies untill you add thier access keys to your account.

You can start a char in any chapter, then move it to another chapter. There is little good reasoning behind installing the game and not playing untill you purchase another chapter. Go ahead and start a char, you will learn a great deal and can always delete the char and start over if you find the look of the char(excluding armor which you can update from any chapter) would be better from another chapter.

Also since you can make multiple chars you should concider making more than one, so you can test out each of the primary proffesions. They do play differntly as a primary then as a secondary.

You can play them in any order you like. You can bring characters made from one campaign to the other. However, you can't make a Dervish or Paragon in Tyria (Prophecies) as they are Nightfall exclusives.

sorry i dont know wht happend im 100% sure i posted a question before post #78 when i logged off i saw it there i dono how it got deleted.Well now i hav 2 questions:
1)when is the next major update i read somewhere it was around feb 7(chinese new year) right?<---this is wht i had posted
2)if somebody with nightfall:CE can plss brief me where the acces keys r in the box(they r supposed to b 3) id really appreciate it

PS:-im asking question no.2 coz my bro has my nightfal:CE in another country and i want him to make sure they r 3 acces keys
